Azerbaijan-Japan Investment Forum was held on October 4, 2021. At the event, a memorandum of understanding was signed between the Azerbaijan Confederation of Entrepreneurs and the Japanese TET company (International Development).
Mammad Musayev, the President of the Confederation of Entrepreneurs of Azerbaijan, said during his speech that the construction works started under the leadership of President Ilham Aliyev in the short time since November 8 - Victory Day, are continuing successfully:
"Azerbaijan is rapidly implementing the "smart village" and "smart city" projects, applying the world's latest technological successes in its liberated lands. Construction works in Karabakh and Eastern Zangezur according to modern urban planning standards create great investment opportunities for the restoration and revival of the economy.
There is no doubt that investors participating in today's Azerbaijan-Japan Investment Forum will be informed about these opportunities. Japanese companies are active in the oil, gas and energy industry in Azerbaijan, reconstruction and supply of communications, ecology, infrastructure, training of Azerbaijani specialists, etc. in our country. they are closely involved in the fields".
He noted that according to the results of 2020, the trade turnover between Azerbaijan and Japan is 200 million US dollars.
